Cary Audio Design CAD-300 Integrated Amplifier combined with Decware Zen se84 and JAMES transformers. AMP is assembled by an electrical engineer using Decware Zen se84 kit, JAMES JS-6123HS 20 Watt Single Ended transformers and WW2 era military power transformer. It has oil capacitors, DC regulated 300B filament supply, voltage delay and is sold with matched pair of Electro Harmonic 300B, pair of 6P15P-EV (EL84) and Sovtek 6N1-P. Amp can be switched to operate in Cary CAD-300 mode or in Decware Zen mode. In Zen mode it uses Decware output transformers and bypass 300B circuit. In Cary CAD-300 mode it uses JAMES JS-6123HS and bypass Decware output transformers. Amp performed flawlessly. No issues. Cosmetically there are a couple of very small dents on the wood base - hardly visible. Both amps very well reviewed, just ask the Google.

We are able to power these speakers to a modest listening level with a single 2 watt per channel triode amplifier. 6 watts per channel or higher is however recommend for larger rooms over 150 square feet. HIGH FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT RESISTOR The ERR features dual 5-way binding posts on the rear of the cabinet. The bottom set power the radial driver, the top set power the planar tweeter. When using a single amplifier, the two sets of posts are connected together with a piece of wire on the negative and a resistor on the positive. The resistor is used to adjust the volume of the planar tweeters for a given room, which is why its external. Higher value resistors create more attenuation while lower value resistors create less. The range is 1 ohm to 16 ohm (typically) and in plush rooms the resistor can sometimes be omitted entirely and replaced with a piece of wire.

This Steve Deckert designed push-pull integrated amplifier uses 25 watts of handmade glory with either EL34 or KT88 output tubes. I always lean to the EL34s. So, get off the wait list and get listening to a beautiful piece of work. For a nominal fee you can ship it to Steve and he will do a checkup, upgrade if you wish, and renew the lifetime warranty. I always wanted to own and listen to one of these amps so I bought this one used not knowing anything about the life of the tubes so I bought a new set, installed them and listened to the amp for about 5 hours. Up for sale a pair of Decware ZF15M Zen Master Series open baffle speakers. These speakers were made from 100% solid wood. The speakers will come with raisers. Due to lacking of a shipping box there is No shipping, local pick up only. Decware ZF15M are in excellent condition with minor scratches at bottom. There are No cracks or any major damages. These speakers produce realistic midrange that boxed speakers cannot. You only need few watts tube amp to drive them. I tried the speakers with Dynaco St70 amp and Primaluna Dialogue HP amp. The Zen Triode SE84UFO amplifier is Decwares flagship amplifier. This one is new, with only 10 hours play time. Its the latest 25th anniversary edition with level 2 upgrades (boutique copper-foil signal capacitors). Youre probably familiar with the great reviews from people such as Steve Guttenberg and Andrew Robinson. The Zen at 2.3 watts per channel needs pairing with efficient speakers —sounds incredible with my Forte II speakers. Great soundstage, separation, tone and surprisingly good bass performance. Selling bc I already own 8 amplifiers and have decided to build my own going on. I waited nearly 2 years for the build and currently the Decware wait list has grown to over 2 years— there’s an expected price increase coming sometime this summer. Selling a highly regarded Decware SE84UFO2. This amp is everything they say it is. Skip the line (waiting list is currently over a year) I’m the second owner. The reason I’m selling this is I’ve acquired a Mcintoah MC225 which is. dram amp for me. This sees little use now. Comes with all the original tubes. I also have a rare Amperex 6922 “pinched waist” and a relabeled metal base GZ34. That I’ll be selling with the amp. I believe the packaging I have is the original. The left meter reads and shows lower than the right. It’s doesn’t affect the sound. I’ve never opened the amp to investigate it. It was like that when I got it. The previous owner said the meter became recessed. He open it and tried to place it back in the correct position. It’s been reading low since. Again it doesn’t affect the sound. This amp does NOT have any mods.

Decware SE84UFO2.1 Walnut Stereo Single Ended SET Vacuum Tube Amplifier. Brand new. I waited 20 months to get this. As you know these amps have a wiring list when purchasing from Decware and are hard to come by. Like I said I had to wait 20 months to get this. You can bypass the wait list by buying mine. It sounds beautiful but I unfortunately need the money. I have tested it and it works great and only has maybe an hour of play on it.
