Note that this amp DOES require a preamp for proper gain to speakers. This TS model does NOT have a headphone jack. Only one input even though 4 RCA plugs are shown. 2 are to have gain knob control and 2 are to bypass gain knob for direct path. Lucid mode switch is on when pointed away from power transformer. Don’t wait 2.5 -3 years. This was one of the first v2 versions (2021) which was a personal unit of Steve Deckert’s. Selling because after 2 years I have 4 months until I finally get a Decware Sarah 300b. Including a Decware DHC 3 Power Cord and Decware stock tubes and Tungsol E34b, GE 6922, Sylvania OA3. If you're coming from a larger solid state amplifier of several hundred watts and considering a tube amp but worried about things like bass control, dynamics, weight, headroom, or just having enough power to make your speakers sound right, then you'll probably be pretty surprised when you first hear a TORII JR because the performance and speed are actually superior. You will not be disappointed. Remember, 20 watts of high voltage tubes coupled to your loudspeaker through a huge transformer is not the same thing as 20 watts of solid state transistors directly coupled to your loudspeaker. Most people would perceive the power of a TORII JR around 100 watts and that's not far off when you consider the peak power is over 70 watts into a loudspeaker, and instantaneous peak power even higher still. Good for amps as low as 4W to 100W. There is a small crack on the inside wood frame of one of the speaker grills that you can see in the picture. Timbres and room ambiance are rendered unusually well. No sub required. CROSSOVER - RECOMMENDED POWER The ERR is a 2-way loudspeaker that employs a minimalist crossover network. Time-alignment between the two drivers is done with placement on the enclosure vs. additional capacitors and networks in the crossover. The near absence of a crossover makes the ERR ideal for low power tube amplifiers. We are able to power these speakers to a modest listening level with a single 2 watt per channel triode amplifier. 6 watts per channel or higher is however recommend for larger rooms over 150 square feet. The resistor is used to adjust the volume of the planar tweeters for a given room, which is why its external. Higher value resistors create more attenuation while lower value resistors create less. The range is 1 ohm to 16 ohm (typically) and in plush rooms the resistor can sometimes be omitted entirely and replaced with a piece of wire.

This Steve Deckert designed push-pull integrated amplifier uses 25 watts of handmade glory with either EL34 or KT88 output tubes. I always lean to the EL34s. So, get off the wait list and get listening to a beautiful piece of work. For a nominal fee you can ship it to Steve and he will do a checkup, upgrade if you wish, and renew the lifetime warranty. I always wanted to own and listen to one of these amps so I bought this one used not knowing anything about the life of the tubes so I bought a new set, installed them and listened to the amp for about 5 hours. I streamed some hi-res Grateful Dead and Brecker Brothers Jazz through the amp to a great pair of Klipsch Chorus ll speakers. There is something to be said about tubes and Klipsch. The sound is outstanding. However, I am going to move up the tube amp line so this is available. You wont need to get on the 2 year waiting list for a new amp. You can own this one with a brand new set of tubes (5 hours of use). Just plug and play. There is a lot of opportunity for tube rolling as the 6922 input tubes and KT88/EL34 output tubes are and were manufactured by more than a few companies in different countries. There are many to choose from. You can customize the sound to your ear using a variety of new and NOS (new old stock) tubes. Up for sale a pair of Decware ZF15M Zen Master Series open baffle speakers. These speakers were made from 100% solid wood. The speakers will come with raisers. Due to lacking of a shipping box there is No shipping, local pick up only. Decware ZF15M are in excellent condition with minor scratches at bottom. There are No cracks or any major damages. These speakers produce realistic midrange that boxed speakers cannot. You only need few watts tube amp to drive them. I tried the speakers with Dynaco St70 amp and Primaluna Dialogue HP amp.
