Overall very good physical condition with rock solid heavy all metal construction. *****NOW FOR THE FUN PART: *********** The fan does not seem to cycle. But that may actually be a good thing. This amp needs to be heated (literally) before it is used. There will be no sound until it is heated at which point there will be a noticable clicking sound. When it is a the right temperature the clicking will stop. I used a hairdryer to heat the amp through the rear and top vents. When the chasis is warm the amp will perform. If it cools you will need to reheat again. This was an issue with these amps and is documented in online articles. Dayton Audio only made this amplifier for a little over a year and discontinued it. Its nearly impossible to find on these and especially in this condition with original packaging. The only reason I am selling it is because I cant find a 2nd one so I moved on to using Pro Audio amplifiers for subwoofer duty.
