This is a powerful, one of a kind (its no longer produced) stereo amp specifically designed to drive passive subwoofers. Im the original owner, and the amp is just under one year old. Its in excellent condition cosmetically and operationally. I used the amp with a pair of Dayton MKS4X subs. The combo was wonderful, and produced extremely tight, well defined bass down to 40 Hz (the MKS4X is not designed to go subsonic). Beyond the amps excellent power down to 2 ohms in stereo, its key feature is its web-based interface. I loved this! It gave me complete control to set every aspect of sub configuration and high-pass filters via PC. I configured my subs manually using REW and a Dayton high quality audio mic (let me know if youre interested in the mic), but the sub amp has auto EQ configuration with an included puck mic if desired. I didnt try auto EQ. The APA1200DSP can drive 1 sub, 2 subs in mono mode, or 2 subs in true stereo.
