Crimson Elektrik 510 & 520 Stereo Pre-Amp & Power Amp Sounding exactly as they should, this example of British Hi-Fi history is in very nice condition - tested for a couple of hours and in full and glorious working order. It’s a long time since we’ve heard a 510 working with a 520. These certainly didn’t disappoint. The 510 preamp was originally battery powered, but the original owner carried out a simple mod, so it now runs on an external power-supply. This modification was done for convenience but can easily be reversed if so desired. One speaker socket has been changed, but no effect whatsoever on performance.
