Crimson elektrik 510 preamplifier /530 monoblocks.,in great cosmetic condition I would recommend them having a service and the preamplifier a battery,these sound great with a good 50 Watts of power,good luck

3x Vintage Crimson Elektrik 35 15B Stereo RIAA equalized pre amp boards These may be of use to someone, I think they are from 1975 ish from when I used to run (and build) the school discos! gulp ... 50 years ago ! Anyway they are all used and probably faulty, I can see a couple of broken tracks, good for spares/ repair. Crimson Elektrik 510 & 520 Stereo Pre-Amp & Power Amp Sounding exactly as they should, this example of British Hi-Fi history is in very nice condition - tested for a couple of hours and in full and glorious working order. It’s a long time since we’ve heard a 510 working with a 520. These certainly didn’t disappoint. The 510 preamp was originally battery powered, but the original owner carried out a simple mod, so it now runs on an external power-supply. This modification was done for convenience but can easily be reversed if so desired. One speaker socket has been changed, but no effect whatsoever on performance. Crimson Elektrik 510 Battery Powered Pre-Amplifier Exterior condition is very good - see pictures The interior base plate has some marks from presumably a leaking battery (see last two pictures) Two relevant batteries are supplied free of charge - with no guarantees on their condition Note: When an amplifier has been stored for a while without use there may be crackles from the volume / balance potentiometers, this usually goes away with use or by the application of WD40 etc. - there is NO RETURN or REFUND if these pots should crackle - DO NOT buy if you do not accept these terms

CRIMSON ELEKTRIK POWER AMPLIFIER UPDATE 21-05-23ANOTHER EBAYER MESSAGED ME TO ASK IF I HAD CHECKED THE FUSE IN THE MAINS IEC SOCKET, I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS ONE. I CHECKED IT AND ITS BLOWN! ITS SMALLER THAN A STANDARD FUSE YOU WOULD SEE IN A PLUG AND I DONT HAVE ONE, NOR DO I HAVE THE PRE-AMP OR SPEAKERS ANY MORE TO TEST. THIS MAY WELL BE THE PROBLEM BUT STILL SOLD FOR SPARES OR REPAIR AS STILL UNABLE TO TESTIVE ADDED ANOTHER PICTURE FOR THE MAINS IEC SOCKET WITH FUSE THIS WAS AN OUTSTANDING AMPLIFIER UNFORTUNATELY ITS ONE OR BOTH CHANNELS STOPPED WORKING (LONG TIME AGO) THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD THIS UNIT PROFESSIONALLY MADE TO ORDER IN THE NINETIES AND HAD IT SERVICED JUST BEFORE I BOUGHT IT FROM HIM APPROX 15 YEARS AGO IVE BEEN TOLD IT COULD BE THE LARGE CAPACITORS OR SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS A DRY SOLDER JOINT THAT NEEDS DOING IM NO EXPERT ITS A BIT BEYOND ME HENCE ITS UP FOR SALE IT COMES WITH A MAINS POWER LEAD SOLD FOR REPAIR
