The basics — I don’t know what exactly is wrong with the unit — it will power on, open the tray, CDs can be loaded, but they do not play. The screen works perfectly and all of the buttons seem to work fine. It is relatively clean and devoid of serious external damage of any kind. See pictures for the few small scratches!
