SONY SS-176E Brooklands Edition Floor Standing Speakers 6OHMS, Black Collection only, sorry but I am unable to post this abroad!! This is a pair of the highly regarded Sony SS176E Brooklands Edition floor standing speakers - as a previous winner of the What Hi-Fi Awards, they obviously sound great. These are the Brooklands version which I believe has an upgraded woofer when compared with the standard ones. Dimensions are approx 78cm high x 22 wide x 25 deep - plus another 3cm on depth if the grilles are fitted. There are a few marks on the black casings which I have tried to show at their worst in the photos. Also two of the plastic pegs which hold the grilles on the front have broken on one grille, but the 2 remaining are still enough to keep everything in place. Speaker cones and rubber surround are in good condition. These speakers weight 15kg each so would be expensive to post ?30-40? and there is also the risk of damage in transit.
