Im selling this as parts / repair because my right channel in my headphones wasnt working suddenly. This is a brand new problem. I tried my headphones on another amp and both channels were working fine, so its exclusively a problem with this amp. My best guess is that a connection became loose or something needs to be soldered back on or replaced. I am not a DIY type of person, so I dont know how to go in, troubleshoot, etc. Someone can very easily figure out what the issue is, swap out a part, etc. to get it to work. Id take it to get looked at by a professional, but, Im moving in the direction of speakers and am decluttering my headphone amps anyway. Since I know nothing of DIYing tube amps, going in and trying to troubleshoot is like rocket science for me. Thus, I am selling it as parts / repair. No returns on parts / repair items, please. For your consideration: a used Bottlehead PT-3 Transformer. This was part of a Bottlehead Crack OTL headphone amplifier kit that was built in 2010 and was eventually “frankensteined” into other experiments and projects. The transformer worked when last used, but I have no other specifications to share. This was designed for use with standard 120V US mains power. The grey spray-paint on the bell cover can easily be stripped, or simply sprayed over. I have used gun blueing on other similar projects, which also worked well. Item is suggested for somebody familiar with Bottlehead projects, or as a replacement part. I cannot offer any additional technical assistance.
