So when we sold them there was no need for a spare eq. The nice thing about the series IV eq is that it also upgrades series lll 901s. The eq is the heart of the 901 and must be used only with the Bose 901 series lll or IV. It’s the frequency balancing device that allows the listener to tune the system to match the room. The eq has normal wear and tear as you can see in the photos. There is a small chip in the back corner as well as a slightly visible drink ring. Most of the time the eq is hidden away anyway.
