Please see pics - this is playing beautifully as I write this, warm sweet sound, Im auditioning it with some Duke Ellington Indigos, Sinatra Come Swing With Me, Billie Holiday on Verve, Miles Davis Kind of Blue, classical piano by Horowitz etc..., very nice.... . I am a Bose 901 owner myself - I have had every series 1-VI ver 2. Series III and IV are, in terms of appearance and overall build quality, my personal favorites. To me every series sounds great so thats about ones own preference. This EQ is performing as it should, It is noted on line as a match for Series III and IV but my series VI sound great with it as well, and so do my series I! I will not need this EQ or Id keep it, so it is for sale now at a very good price. I would send this to DHS Speaker for his basic cap service if I were to keep it simply because of the age. He does great work. But again, this is working here and now so you may prefer to just plug and play. I cannot guarantee this item given the age hence a low price and terms it is sold as is as seen.
