While the unit worked fine at that time and it still has a very good appearance for its age with very few scratches, smudges, or other signs of usage, the years of storage have resulted in a situation where the cassette does not engage. The unit powers up as it always did, but when the tape is inserted and the various electronic controls are touched, they light up as expected and a hum is heard, but the tape does not move. Nur minimal Kratzerchen oder Schlieren an der Blende / Chassis.Wurde immer trocken aufbewahrt. Der Klang ist umwerfend gut und löst heute noch größtes Erstaunen aus. Das liegt natürlich auch daran, daß bei analogen Aufnahmen keine Daten komprimiert werden können. Die Bedienung ist, wie bei B. + O. üblich, höchst ausgefuchst.Ein Beispiel: Aufnahme starten --> record und stop Tasten gleichzeitig ca. 2 sec. drücken. Jetzt kann man den Pegel aussteuern. Danach noch einmal die record Taste drücken und die Aufnahme startet. Aufnahme stoppen: stop-Taste drücken. Jetzt läuft das Band ohne aufzunehmen noch ca. 4 sec. weiter, um einen Abstand zur nächsten Aufnahme zu schaffen.Soll sofort gestoppt werden, wird die stop-Taste zweimal gedrückt.Der Titelsuchlauf funktioniert ebenfalls einhändig. Vorlauf oder Rücklauf -Taste und gleichzeitig die start-Taste drücken und das Gerät findet den nächsten oder vorherigen Song.Alle Tasten sind Sensortasten.
