Description
I trust my auction or Buy Now option will help somebody out and that it reflects my motivation to sell this rig quickly. While I trust Im helping you out with this unique offering, help me out also if you can.Included In Purchase: Upgraded Blk chromed brass grounding spike footers on both table and motor, Benz Micro M09O (updated to Wood SH) high output cart that partners exceptionally well with this arm, very low hours (Originally retailed around $995.00). Also, additional add on counter weight for arm/cart interface, other misc. accessories and, set up literature. On Oct-10-23 at 18:42:15 PDT, seller added the following information: On Offer: Not the prettiest girl but still uncompromised and unparalleled in performance; The highly regarded Well Tempered Labs Turntable. If youre viewing this offer than I assume you already know the pedigree of this analog deck. The table, arm and drive system are from the mind and genius of audio Engineer/Designer Bill Firebaugh. To this day, as far as I know, his patented engineering of the design and application in the critical areas of tonearm pivot, platter bearing and motor drive is unrivaled featuring unprecedented 0 tolerances and zero chatter/noise in both arm & platter and absolute damping of motor vibration. Its why Ive loved this table and hung on to it for so long. The application benefits of Bills efforts are NOT inconsequential! To this end, In my view, Analog/Vinyl done right still rules over Digital playback in so many parameters. My ears arent stupid; The WT tables certainly help you realize that! For the offering here, the plinth is the (inert and heavy) Classic just before the Reference plinth was introduced. However, the platter is Reference Black Diamond Platter that incorporates Isodamp. The Tonearm is the much more mechanically robust and sonically transparent Reference arm that also boasts a carbon fiber arm-wand and, the drive system is the updated Reference motor with AC filtering and a heavier lead based platform that absolutely kills all motor vibration (round top-late).Condition: Im pretty finicky in taking care of my audio gear. Id rate this table/arm/cart as Excellent/Like New.Why Am I Selling?: Ive had this table for some 18+ yrs and Ive never felt compelled to upgrade short of spending tens of thousands of $$$ more out of curiosity for which, like you, Im not willing to do even If I could! Im selling only because I got out of hi-end audio some years ago in favor of perusing my interest in recording and, as a musician, acquiring new gear. Particularly, in this instance, funding the acquisition of a vintage 60s Ludwig drum kit since Im a percussionist at heart.I trust my auction will help somebody out and that it reflects my motivation to sell this rig quickly.
