Cabinets atre beautiful wood,... but are not perfect,.. they have some patina, but arent horrible either, and can be touched up nicely. One of the speakers seems to have been the home for a flower pot at some point. Please blow up pictures to inspect. These were made by John Sollecito Engineering ( JSE ) They were a Connecticut company that had a unique Infinite Slope crossover design. This is their 0.6 Speaker System. It ia a 2-way design that uses Seas drivers . These SEAS drivers are made in Norway, and are generally only found in high end speakers like these. They are 23 x 11 x 12 deep, have an 8 inch woofer and a tweeter with a large port in back. Gorgeous piano black backs. These sound as good as they look. A classic pair of Audiophile boutique speakers.

Technics SE-TX100 was the very first amplifiers to be THX certified in the 1980s and were sold as a high-end power-amp for home-theater - integrated the Star-Wars intimidating look and feel into its dark grey color and mate finish design. Technics SE-TX100 was identical to the Technics SE-A50 amps, except they lack the mono/stereo switch on the back that allows for amp bridging. Featuring Technics new class A - later become class AA. Class AA was named because they coupled the voltage drive amp and the current drive (power amp) via a resistor bridge to the speakers, hence AA was made. The VC-4 marking was referring to the resistor coupling of the 2 stages. SE-TX100 should be maxed out into 115W/ch at 8 ohms and near 180W/ch into 4 ohms.
