Up for sale I have this high quality Berning TF-10 audio preamp. I tested this preamp, and I was able to get sound out of both channels. I did notice that while adjusting both the LEVEL and the BALANCE knobs there was a static kind of noise while turning the knob. I believe these knobs need to be cleaned with contact cleaner. Also I am not sure why but both the MONITOR and TAPE COPY knobs are not turning. I dont know if there is something that you need to do to get these to turn or if they are stuck. I was able to test AUX 1 and AUX 2 and TUNER and I was able to get sound out of all of those. I also tested PHONO 1, PHONO 2, and PHONO 3 and I was able to get sound out of all of these. I was not able to test TAPE 1 and TAPE 2 because the MONITOR knob wont turn. Please note I do not have the original cord. I had to use a house extension like plug to plug it in. When you first power it on, both the power and mute light come on. After about 1 minute the mute light goes out, and there is sound. It is in good condition, but there is some minor wear from stacking. I did notice that a couple screws for the top cover are missing. Please send me a message with any questions. I will be sure to package this preamp with incredible care. I will order a custom made heavy duty shipping box, and I will be sure to use heavy duty bubble wrap and foam. Selling my gorgeous one owner Naim Supernait 1 integrated amplifier from a non-smoking, pet free home. This amplifier sounds great and all inputs work, volume, balance, besides aux1 and aux2 which are silent. This amplifier is listed as “Parts or Repair,” because the auxiliary inputs 1 and 2 are silent, and the remote stopped working when I changed the batteries. I have contacted Naim and they suggested a software upgrade and bench test. I custom pack all of my units far superior to the original packing.
