A great working OPPO BDP-95 Blu-Ray player. Has a full 7.1 output as well as Balanced XLR outputs. This features a toroidal transformer as well as 2 ESS SABRE32 ES9018 DAC chips. This unit sounds fantastic out of my Kef 103/4 paired with my sansui 9090 amplifier. Simply dont use it as much as I thought so Im looking to pass this along. As shown there is one foot that is higher than the others which does cause a slight wobble but is not noticeable when using the unit. No accessories or remote unfortunately.

Beautiful Sony ES STR-DA555ES Receiver. This is a very nice, full featured receiver that bridges a nice gap between modern digital features and vintage analog. Released in 1999, this one still has a very nice quality phono stage and sounds VERY good as a standard analog stereo receiver. Power output is 120W RMS (at 8ohms) per channel and in general it has loads of headroom and performs very well. Build quality is very high quality across the board and it has a very nice feel. There is no remote included. The original was a silly full LCD screen remote that was terrible even when new and eventually just became so dim that it couldnt be used. I have used it with a harmony universal remote and the Harmony database had all the appropriate codes and it worked flawlessly. This is a great receiver and on the upside, all features can be controlled from the front panel which is not true of all the receivers of this era. I will pack this is a brand new heavy cardboard box and it will be double boxed and fully insured. It will arrive safely.

Punchy bass. A great high and mid-range response. Beautifully crafted looks. Its not hard to say what makes the Silver 500 7G special, but it is hard to appreciate just what a difference those things make until, that is, you listen for yourself. One of the speakers has a foot with a stripped/broken screw, making the foot attachment stuck on. Rather than ruin the wood finish, I have left this foot on.
