Purchased new by me around December 2014, one owner. Used sparingly on a Technics SL1200 MK3 for 1.5 years between 12/2014 and 6/2016, put into storage, then resumed usage for 6 more months between Summer 2019 and early 2020 and then retired when I acquired a different cartridge. It was working with no issues when taken out of service in early 2020 and has been in climate-controlled storage ever since, so I see no reason why it shouldn't work. I purchased a new 4767-DED EVG Swiss Pfanstiehl stylus needle in 2020 to preserve the original Shure stylus and probably only put about 2 hours of use on this 4767-DED before I acquired an entirely different cartridge. I think the Shure stylus was improperly stored and believe that it is no longer functional, but I am including it anyway. Pictures show the cartridge mounted in a headshell, which is included. For shipping, I have removed the cartridge from the headshell and placed it in the original Shure metal storage case as it was when shipped from Shure. Will be packed with extreme care and lots of padding. Yamaha RX-Z1 This was removed from an install where the customer upgraded to a new system. It is a is 8 channel super powerful home theater/audio video receiver. The main six channels are 130 watts while the two front auxiliary channels are 45 watts (see graphic). This thing pumps! If you want beefy, this is beefy. I ran several tests on the receiver: The receiver features multiple analog video inputs (component and composite) and digital audio inputs (optical). It also has an AC-3 coaxial input for laser discs. The receiver does not have HDMI but can be used with modern TVs, you would run your HDMI sources directly to the TV then use your TVs optical digital audio output and run it to the receiver. The receiver has Dolby Digital and DTS. I tested it with a DVD player hooked up through component video, analog audio, and digital audio (optical). All worked fine. Component video in goes out on component video. I hooked up a Yamaha MusicCast and tested the RCA audio and video (red, white, yellow cables) and it too worked fine. RCA video in goes out on RCA. You can access the on screen setup menus through RCA. I also tested it with a Sonos Connect using RCA cables and it worked too. The receiver has speaker A and speaker B so you could hook up a second pair of speakers in a different area such as the garage, backyard, game room, craft room, or man cave. The receiver comes with the Yamaha remote and manual seen in the photos. The remote is not the one that originally came with the receiver but many of the buttons work fine. The listing is for the receiver, remote control, manual, and power cord. The case is in overall good shape with some signs of wear, scuffs, and scratches , see detailed photos for yourself. The CDM9 was the final model in Philips’ classic line of single-beam swing arm mechs, which many considered to have better sound than the three-beam linear tracking devices that followed. Very good sounding and rare pair of bass reflex (ported) German made MB Quart Q 600 floorstanding speakers. These would be great for an office or work studio environment, easily filling a moderate sized room with crystalline highs and rich bass. Excellent imaging due to driver placement. A no nonsense entry level audiophile, 2-channel speaker system. Power rated at 80 - 150 watts, 4 ?, with a frequency response of 35 - 32,000 Hz. In good working and sounding mechanical condition and decent overall cosmetic condition with some dings and tears in grille cloth. Please look closely at the pictures of actual items for main cosmetic description. One cab seems to have been bumped on a front corner but its not too noticeable. Tweeters were replaced with MB Quart replacements; one woofer had a small hole in the butyl surround that was repaired from the back, so its fine. Can always be replaced, but now theres no need. Two of the speaker terminal screw were missing, so I replaced with nylon locking hex nuts for a secure connection. Also, note one of the 8 nylon feet has been replaced with a rubber foot. Probably has no noticeable sonic effect and certainly not cosmetic, as its in the back on the floor, but thought Id mention. Working and sounding great. Im offering only LOCAL PICKUP here, for an LA music lover who wants a great pair of speakers for a reasonable price.
