SOTA Sapphire Audiophile Turntable. Includes Sumiko Tonearm and Graco Cartridge. Vintage 1980’s. Turntable is in very nice condition and works and sounds great. Lid is cracked as shown in picture (but glued together securely) which is why it’s priced as it is. This is the non-vacuum version.

Its been well cared for, stored in heated storage for over thirty years until she was recently uncovered. I had the pleasure of using this machine for 6 months. The extras this gentlemen kept in the box and a couple of pieces I added make this an audiophile dream package. If your going to get into this you mine as well get it right the first time. You dont see complete stuff like this. 50 years something always get misplaced or dissappears. Not this one. This habit can get expensive and there arent many desirable pieces out there anymore that have been kept original or are missing pieces. This unit has all those pieces covered. The way Yamaha wanted you to hear it. Finding one like this complete is very uncommon. Only a true audiophile would be prepared with such a unit Unit comes complete with extras. Shure Premier (Re label of Shure 95) Brand new unused Stylus Shure 75 ED cartridge with after market stylus (N75) AND a brand new N75 new old stock elliptical stylus. I opened it to verify it was the fit to N 75. It has one song on it and sounded soo good lol. I put it back for special occasions but I currently have upgraded and cant see myself using it again. Let someone else enjoy it. I should have kept packet sealed but had to verify (sad face) Plus a Shure V15 ii Phono Cartridge, never got around to really testing this one out. I put an N 75 in it and it wasnt proper fit but I did get sound out of both speakers. Sounded very nice but I think it could benefit from a proper fitting stylus so Im gonna throw this in for free. The others have been tested and are EXCELLANT. Two belts from different carriers. I was worried and didnt wanna wait and ordered two just in case both are excellant Original Yamaha headshell weight. Manuals, warranty card, boxes, packaging. Timing was checked and verified stable at both speeds. Lubricated and serviced by licensed technician in Ottawa with in last 6 months Unit is impeccable and still has the original suspension foams. Licensed technician was shocked but if things are stored properly they last. Hes been a tech for over 50 years and told me he hasnt seen one like this since he was a kid Unit is clean and unmolested condition. Original Yamaha Sonics Crystal clear audiophile magic.. This turntable is amazing no sound or feed back. When the needle touches the record the mojo begins!! Unit is in outstanding condition for 50 years. Only mark on it is on the lid and you can barely notice it in the picture but I must be honest and say its there. Unit is in a 9.8 condition and Im harsh. In right hands this tiny blemish can dissappear. Unit is otherwise functioning flawlessly and is in plug and play condition. Please zoom in on pictures before buying. Item is as pictured and as described No returns. This unit is in very desirable and collectible condition.
