Attention Audiophiles and Analog Lovers!! Here are two items you rarely see here in the USA, the Audiolab 8000P power amp and 8000C Preamp. Audiolab is a very well-respected British audio products company. I bought these years ago during my audiophile period. I wanted separates, but I wanted a preamp that had tone controls. That was difficult to find at the time. These two pieces were my main system for a long time. I could try to describe the sound of these two components, but what would be the point? I loved them, and I think others would too. For those of you who are returning to vinyl, or never left, please note that this preamp has connections for both moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. Both of these phono pre-amp stages are excellent, with commendably low noise. Attached are photos showing specifications from the manual, which of course is included. Theyve been in storage in recent years, in their boxes in climate contolled spaces. I took them out and plugged them in today to make sure everything is ok, and it is. There was no static or noise in the lines, even with the volume up all the way. The switches all work smoothly, with no crackles or pops which would indicate oxidation. Cosmetically they are excellent, having been owned by someone who is very particular about his gear. I am going to list these as a set, because I think they are well matched and will provide highest value if together. Im pricing them below what I think is market value, so will not be open to counteroffers. That could change if they dont sell. They will ship inside their factory boxes, and those boxes will be overpacked in a single box.
