Here is the original Audio Alchemy DDE v1.0 component. This unit started it all for Audio Alchemy popularity. I have had this DDE v1.0 for over 20 years. It has not been used for over 10 years and was stored away in a non-smoking home. Unit is in great shape and works as designed. All lights work. This unit is very nice for Audio Alchemy collectors. The unit is in great condition. Even the unit bottom and feet are in original good condition (see photos). The feet on these units often fall apart. These DDE v1.0 units are becoming more and more rare to find in good shape. The Power Station One High Current Power Supply (an upgrade option for this unit) is in good condition and works great. This thing is an absolute beast and last time i checked it worked just like it should but I'm selling it for parts as when I plugged in the cord to the power it sparked on me. (update: As long as you have it all plugged in before you give this unit power it's fine. I was plugging the output into the input first which you shouldn't do but I didn't realize. This didn't hurt the unit I don't believe. Should be fine but just be careful.) I almost certain it is just the cord I used as the 3.5 millimeter jack looks like it's coming apart it's so old. I'm going to order a new cord for it but listing it now as is. I will be including everything shown but I highly recommend you buy a new cord and it should work just like new but can't guarantee as of now. Very little to no cosmetic damage to these pieces. This listing includes a tested working Power Station Two from Audio Alchemy, a for parts/repair Audio Alchemy DTI Pro, and for parts/repair Audio Alchemy DDE V1.2. I initially purchased the Power Station off ebay to test the DTI and DDE, which I had acquired without power supplies. All three units were sent to an experienced tech who determined that, while the power supply worked, the DTI was not operational. The DDE uses a proprietary power cable that I was not able to source. The DTI has custom cable built by my tech. If someone wanted to invest the time in this, it could be an amazing sounding digital setup. The DDE V1.2 uses the highly regarded Analog Devices AD1862 R2R chip and should have a smoother, more analog sound compared to a lot of modern delta sigma based DACs. With that said, it is unknown how damaged this and the DTI Pro are so I am including them as essentially free. The price of this whole package should reflect the current market price for just the Power Station Two.
