Ariston Pro Turntable The Ariston Pro turntable (not to be confused with the DJ focused Pro 1200) is effectively an all manual version of the revered Q Deck. This turntable comes with an Ortofon cartridge and the factory fitted tonearm (which looks to be Jelco based but Im not 100%). The turntable works and is surprisingly heavy. The lid has some scratches. The power supply is a generic wallwart. The lid is missing its hinges. These are identical to the ones used by Linn, so easily replaced. I cant guarantee the state of the stylus but it is replaceable. UK Postage or collection only. There are 2 postage options 1) is for a single parcel and I wont accept any returns or offer refunds if the lid is broken 2) is for 2 parcels as a consignment with the lid in a different parcel Sorry about this but a heavy turntable and a plastic lid dont travel well together in a single box no matter how well you try and wrap them. ARISTON “PRO” TRANSCRIPTION TURNTABLE RARE VINTAGE - SEE DESCRIPTION (SPARES). Please note it is sold as spares and repairs. I dont have any ways of testing as there is no power adapter. Also take a close look at photos to familiarise yourself with condition. Seems like there was attempt to repair power socket. Hopefully turntable is in a working condition with correct power supply or can be fixed with right tools and knowledge. Plastic lid is missing but could be replaced with another one. This is an unbelievably rare model, definitely a great addition to someones collection. The Ariston Pro was one of the last main decks from Ariston. At this time, there was the”Icon”, a suspended sprung deck, and the “Q-deck”, a more simple solid plinth design that proved very popular in the 1990’s. The Pro took the solid plinth of the Q-deck, stripped away the semi-automatic features leaving afully manual deck, but paired it with the superior “Enigma” tone arm from the Icon, as well as the Icon’s thicker mat. As CDs grewever more popular, Ariston faded from the scene and the Pro became a rare turntable.  Do not confuse this deck with the Ariston Pro 1200 which targeted the DJ market. The Ariston Pro was one of the last Scottish”Transcription Turntables” produced by them before the brand became simply a Far-Eastern “badge”. SPARES AND REPAIRS
