Darauf weist auch das großzügig dimensionierte Netzteil mit 550 VA bzw. The plastic part for the power on/off button is missing but since I always left in the on position and controlled the power from the preamp it did not concern me. (A small pencil or other pointy object must be used to turn it on/off.) The case does have a few scratches/scuffs, but no dents. This will be packed very well for shipping, but local pickup is welcome. If you own an Arcam Delta 290 amplifier you will know that the input selector oxidises and causes channels to drop out. This listing is to repair and restore your Arcam amplifiers input selector to its former glory. This service includes removing, fully refurbishing then refitting your input selector back to as new condition. This may sound excessive but a squirt of switch cleaner is not enough to resolve this problem (as Im sure many of you already know) and is only a very temporary measure. After this repair your amplifiers input selector will work as new with no crackling or channel drop out and should be good for at least another 15-20 years. It will also still work perfectly with your original remote controller. Unfortunately Arcam can no longer offer a service to replace these input selectors as the motorised originals and non-motorised replacements are now all discontinued parts and since they are now part of the Harman group probably wont help you anyway. Here is a chance to give one of these excellent amplifiers a good few more years of service and hear it at its best. The buy it now price includes repairing the input selector only (other faults can be repaired but may add additional cost), the postage charge is for 48 hr, return postage (if required). You will need to post the amplifier (no accessories please) to me at your cost (or drop it off if you are local) and provide suitable packaging to ensure your pride and joy doesn’t get damaged by the courier. Arcam Delta 290 Amplifier with Phono Stage All controls work as they should including the notorious Alps input selector - the input selector has been dismantled and cleaned and tested. (A squirt of switch cleaner without dismantling selector is a very short lived cure). No remote control. There a re a few minor marks on the case shown in photos, but in all very good condition for its age. If collecting from Bromley Kent, it can be seen and heard working. Will not send overseas, or to Eire, Ireland or other remote areas etc. Do not have original box but it will be well packed to survive its journey.

This is wonderful sounding, powerful amplifier, which has always been well thought of and reviewed; I have various Arcam kit, and these Deltas are still amazing.. and great value for money to get a fine piece of hifi. This has recently been serviced, and has none of the selector switch issues that occasionally blight these amps. Apart from sounding perfect, it is in as good a condition as Ive seen one of these; really close to mint: I cant find any blemishes worth noting. Complete with mains lead. Happy for local pick-up/inspection, in SE13 South London.
