Rare opportunity as I’m sure you all know only 720 of these impressive decks were built and costing a whopping £850 in 1992. Having now put this gorgeous award winning machine through its paces I can report that all seems well during playback and recording. The remote works the play, stop, ff and rw functions. It sounds superb I just wish I had some metal tapes to use! Overall it is lovely but here are the good the bad and the ugly points; The good is it appears to be fully up and running. The bad is I do not have any history with the deck and do not know if it has ever been serviced. The ugly is the scratch on the top which is pretty much the only blemish. Thankfully the case is all metal so it could be sanded out and repainted if desired. Please do study the photographs to fully appreciate the condition. The facia is excellent. Naturally collection with a full demonstration is preferred (bring your favourite test tape) but if collecting is not possible it will be extremely well packed and insured for U.K. only delivery.
