Purchased second-hand here on Ebay from the original owner in January of 2024 for use in our great room system. We also use the Anthem AVM 60 for our home theater room, and I wanted the systems to function similarly. Recently upgraded to the MRX 540 (great room is only a 5.1 system), so this needs to find a new home. This receiver was a considerable step-up from the mass market Marantz/Denon/Yamaha AVRs that preceded it, with a really organic, highly resolving tone--excellent in two channel. Original SRP was $1999. Very powerful--didnt break a sweat with my 4oHm, tough-to-drive Revels and other challenging loads. Im upgrading to another Anthem. Includes the power cord, original remote and set-up ARC microphone, which Ive never used. You can download the manual and software for the set-up microphone free from Anthems website.
