California Audio Labs Sigma II Tube Analog Processor DAC Used. Tested. Sounds great. Good cosmetic condition. Has Sovtek 12AX7 installed (see pictures). Includes power cord. The Sigma II has a full warm analog sound, particularly in the lower frequencies. It’s hard to beat the sound quality for price. It is meant to be kept powered on, as it has a recommended warm up time of 30 minutes. There is a power switch on back panel. It has 2 inputs, coaxial and optical, with the input selector switch on the back panel. It has an auto on signal detect, LED light turns on when a signal is present. Depending on your input source (I have used only CD players/transports), mechanical sounds (varies depending on source) from actuating relays may be briefly heard from chassis (not speakers) only for couple seconds when connected source is first powered on. There is a brief delay, depending on source and input being used, before the Sigma begins processing signal after it’s been detected. This is normal behavior.

Die Bronze-Grundplatte ist von den Befestigungspunkten her kompatibel zu den Originalmaßen der SME-Grundplatte. Im Gegensatz zum Originaldesign wird der Tonarm (SME3009/3012) mit der Bronze-Grundplatte fest verschraubt und zur Verstellung wird die gesamte Bronze-Grundplatte inklusive Tonarm verschoben. Die Höhe der Bronzegrundplatte Standard beträgt 10 mm, so dass der Tonarm ca. 7mm höher kommt. Der Tonarm gewinnt an Auflösung, tieferen und kontrollierteren Bässen und einer hervorragenden Dynamik.
