The player is noisy when using music sensor. I probably walked for hundreds of miles listening to this particular one:- the metal finish along the front edge is worn (see photos) - has a number of stains and marks which will probably clean off It was working when I finally put it away, maybe 20 years ago, and it still powers up with batteries. With Play/Pause engaged, you can hear the motor but the spindles arent turning. No idea what the problem is or how difficult it would be to fix: for all I know, 1.2v rechargeable AAA batteries dont have enough oomph to power it.
