This was in daily use until today, I pulled it out of one of my home hi fi systems as I'm down sizing.  It's the GFA (Great F'n Amplifier) Model 545 MK I, with the push button power switch.  Cosmetically this unit is in nice condition, minor wear on the casing. Functionally it's been near flawless other than the occasional 'faint sad bird' sound when powering down. This is a known issue with this model and from my research it's nothing to be concerned with. You can find Reddit and AudioKarma posts on this. “It’s due to occilation/instability as the voltage rails bleed out upon power down. The 545 and the rest of the family (555, 535, etc) have no speaker relays, and therefore don’t disconnect the speakers the moment you switch it off as some amps do. Most amps without relays will do this same thing.” Chris Hoppe aka HoppesBrain has great info on the GFA series including mods. AFAIK all internals are original. I am the 2nd owner. I've never had it re-capped because I felt it's been sounding great. When I opened up the chassis for this listing, I did not see any leaking capacitors. However with vintage audio equipment, recapping is an inevitability. PCBs could use a dusting, I don’t have a suitable brush and low pressure air around to do so myself. This has a 220v sticker on the rear but it's been switched internally to run on 120v. From my understanding, there is a rail inside in the PSU circuit where this can be done by simply moving the blade connector position. I purchased it like this.  This will be carefully packed as I would expect to receive it.  Thanks for looking!

Old School Real World Power, 6 x 70 W(8 Ohms), 6 x 100 W (4Ohms), 3 x 175 W (8 Ohms), Class AB. Amp has rack mounts, which can be removed. See last photo for full spec sheet. This amp was designed for high end custom installs (having RCA outputs as well as inputs). It is heavy duty, built to last and would work great for a home system for music and or home theater. Works well, Excellent functional condition, Good cosmetic condition (has a few minor flaws), see pics. I used to work as a technician for a former owner of Adcom and inherited several components. This amp had been in storage and seen very little use. It was then stored in my garage until now. I pulled it out recently and tested in my system for a couple days. It still sounds Fantastic!
