It was missing one the screw connectors on the back of the amplifier for one of the speaker connections. Unit is structurally sound. Has a couple light scratches and some white spots on sides and top case that may come off with better cleaning. I only gave unit a light cleaning/wiping.

Mids and highs only suffer a tiny bit in comparison to the best $2000 and up designs. Im selling it because I just got some new speakers for my home theater rig, and the 150 w/ch of the GFA 545ii isnt quite enough to wake up the bottom end. The quality is definitely there (in spades), I just need a little more quantity in watts, like at least 300w/ch.

It has been bench tested and found in good working order. Condition: Normal condition for its age. There are a couple of nicks/ Marks/ scratches just normal aging. I did replace all external screws to new ones as the old ones were pitted/ losing their color. Given the fragile nature of these classics, this sale is AS-IS. The amplifiers have been bench tested, re-biased and serviced prior to shipping and found working normally. This is a fully working unit.

Adcom GFA 545 100 WPC Amplifier Into 8 Ohms And 2 Channels. This is a great sounding amp and a good way to enjoy your music without breaking the bank. Audio wise it sounds great. Cosmetically, like most amps, you’ll find some light scratches on the top. You should be able to see them in the pictures. I’ve used this as a second system with an Adcom GTP 500 pre-amp and they sound great together. Of course, you can use whatever pre-amp you want. This will play almost any speaker you might have to darn loud levels, and still sound good.
