Acutex LPM 312 STR Cartridge w/ Genuine Acutex M312 III STR Stylus - C This listing is for one used Acutex LPM 312 STR cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are very close & have a difference of less than 0.4%. The included stylus is a used, genuine Acutex M312IIISTR. The stylus has a “tri radial” .3 x 1.6 x .6 mil tip & the tracking force is 1.2 ~ 2.5 grams. The stylus tip looks be in very good condition. The 16th photo shows the complete cartridge specs. Also included is the shown set of mounting hardware. [Note: I also have an Acutex LPM 310 cartridge posted in a separate listing.] Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & this combination has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. This item will require an adults’ signature for delivery. All of the cartridge/stylus combinations I sell are sold AS IS - in working condition. I do not offer ANY type of refund, exchange, or return on these cartridge/stylus combinations. If you have an issue with sibilance, it probably means that the cartridge/stylus is not a good match for your tonearm. Not that there is anything defective with this cartridge or stylus. Note: The cantilever (the thin silver tube which the stylus tip is mounted to) is the fragile part of the stylus assembly. The stylus needs to be handled carefully. If the buyer breaks or bends the cantilever when un-packaging, inserting the stylus assembly into the cartridge, or handling the cartridge once the stylus is mounted, I will not be held responsible. This includes while mounting the cartridge to your headshell. It is best to mount your cartridge somewhat loosely first. Then install the stylus. Once the stylus is mounted into the cartridge, adjust the cartridge for the correct overhang for your particular turntable. If you are unfamiliar or inexperienced with installing, mounting, & adjusting cartridges/styli, please have an experienced professional do the installation for you. This is a genuine red Acutex M312IIISTR replacement stylus made in Japan with original box for model LPM ***NOT model M***. Probably new/unused but being sold as ***For Parts or Not Working*** due to age. ACUTEX USED THE SAME M312IIISTR PART NUMBER FOR TWO VERY DIFFERENT CARTRIDGES – this shown model LPM has a long nose while the model M looks like a brick. Make sure that you need the LPM stylus! All sides are shown – front, back, left, right, top and bottom. Microscopic views of the stylus show the shape, not sure if this is stock or retipped. ***SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY, NO RETURN OR REFUND***. This Acutex LPM 312 phono cartridge NEEDS A STYLUS so it is being sold as FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING. Continuity tests good. 523 ohms right channel and 522 ohms left channel. Always stored at room temperature and humidity in a non smoking household. Acutex made two different styles of 312 cartridges. This is NOT the brick style.
