Up for auction is a pair of vacuum tube preamplifiers. These were part of an estate, and I dont know much about them. I dont know if these were modified to be mono units, or if they were purchased this way. They do appear to work and do sound nice. There is however a low buzz well below music level. These came with rectifier tubes that were using an adapter to allow the use of a 6X4 tube in place of a 6Z4. The owner used these with the lids off, as that combo was too tall to allow the units to be covered. Maybe cause of buzz. Those tubes and adapters will be included and packed inside the chassis. On purchase, both units will be packaged separately for shipping.
