This is the premium assembled version I bought directly from Tavish. It includes the original documentation that shows the test results for this particular unit. It can handle both MM and MC cartridges. This is a fantastic phono preamp with amazing specs. It has lower noise than most solid state phono stages but has the sweetness and super high headroom of tubes. It is in perfect condition and includes a huge lot of tubes with it. There are hundreds of dollars worth of tubes alone included with the sale. The only reason I am selling is that two years ago I moved and could not find this after the move. I bought another phono pre and of course a few months later found this one. The tubes installed in it currently are a Vintage Mullard 12Au7, Vintage RCA Black plate 12AX7 and a JJ5751 in V1 position. I have not found a quieter tube for position V1 than the JJ tube. David Halfer DH101K stereo preamp unbuilt kit NIB This from the ebay seller: This is a kit. I have not removed the various boxes from the main box, only peeked inside to see if it looked ok. I cant tell if all the parts are there. These are old kits that I purchased over the last 30 years or so. Some were purchased new, and some from hamfests and on ebay. AVI Laboratories Dual MonoBlock Amplifiers, Preamp, and High Res CD Player. AVI is a high end British company. They made amps that are made to run with high end speakers. I had them hooked up to Wilson Audio towers. They are in perfect working condition. They are showing some signs of wear. The top of the boxes, where the next component sits on top of isnt perfect. But overall, this is a great set. Whats nice, is that everything is made to run together as a whole unit. I will also include a high end power strip. For people in the U.S. you will need a power converter because its an English plug. Easily bought off of Amazon.

AVI s2000 pre amp plus pair of s2000 power amps AVI S2000 pre amp and a pair of S200 power amps (one each for left and right channel). Really fantastic sounding amps. I cannot begin to describe the sound quality and power of this set up. I am only selling as I have moved to a smaller house but suffice to say that the Arcam amp I have now bought does not even come close in terms of sound quality (and Arcam make very good hi-fi). PLEASE NOTE - Ignore model number in advert. EBay won’t let you list without a model number but then they don’t give you a comprehensive list of accurate model number so I had to choose something. THE LISTING IS FOR AVI S2000 amps!! Please note if you have a turntable, this unit doesn't have the phono connection, but I use a Rega phono preamp set up and this works perfectly. The units are in very good condition for their age, but please note that there are a couple of very minor blemishes on the front top edge of each unit - I have tried to show these in the photos. The remote control doesn’t work but I have included it anyway. Never bothered me as I just control from the buttons on the preamp. The photos form part of the description. Usual rules of eBay apply. Intensive listening tests have shown, quite conclusively, that even the best active gain and switching devices introduce quite audible artefacts so you won't find any of those in an AVI design. All the critical electrical components were chosen after stringent listening tests and the company ensures that each and every unit measure up to its extremely high standards.

AVI S2000M Preamplifier. With rare Phono stage for MM/MC that is powered from the preamp. With Manual and original box. It also comes with the original British made mains lead and the remote control which unfortunately does not work. The remote has rechargeable batteries which I have replaced and a lead that plugs into the preamp for charging. The lead is supplied and the batteries do charge but the remote continues not to work. The rest of the preamplifiers is in fantastic condition including the phono stage which sounds great. All lights and buttons work as they should with no pops of clicks. All in all a very nice British made Preamplifier and phono stage which sounds very good indeed. If you have any questions please ask.
