Pickering XV-15/750E turntable cartridge with stylus. Comes with storage case and various hardware, pictured. This was acquired from an estate sale in a lot of electronics and is untested, so sold as is/no returns. Please confirm compatibility with your equipment before purchasing.

Up for auction is a vintage, 1960s, Pickering, XV-15/750 E, DFC Series, needle/stylus and cartridge. Excellent, apparently, lightly used condition. Pickering needle/stylus AND cartridge. Includes the original box, mounting hardware, instructional booklet and business reply card. See the many photos provided. The images are part of the description. Make it yours!

As shown, working Dual CS 508 turntable with Pickering 15-V cartridge and D-5-E stylus. Tested for basic functionality and sound and all appears to work well. There are scratches on the top cover, can use some detailing/cleaning, but a nice vintage turntable with German made quality and refined sound production.

These needles are mostly bad except for the one NP/ATE with the Dustmatic. It looks excellent. I used a loop to see, although I am a novice. I found this stylus in amongst other effects from a late friends estate sale. It came in the D-350 box shown with the original D-350 invoice attached from 1979 also as shown. Thus, I first listed it quite naturally as an NOS D-350 stylus. But a fellow Ebayer messaged me within an hour to say he believes it is a D-4527 stylus based on the number on the stylus. If true, a.) I can no longer assert anything about this item, including whether it is new or used and more importantly b.) If it is a D-4527 stylus, I am told it is appropriate ONLY for the older 78 RPM records and not the later 33 RPM or 45 RPM records. So, myself, knowing nothing about Pickering styluses, I will let you be the judge. I am therefore offering it as is and have lowered the starting bid accordingly. Most of you audiophiles will know exactly what model it is, but be very cautious and maybe even avoid it if you dont. Thank you for your interest. I will ship in a sturdy box to protect it.
