REPRODUCTION OF MICRO SEIKI ARM BOARD AX-4 This listing is for one arm board I do not know who made and marketed this turquoise blue AX-4 tonearm board but it was definitely not made by Micro Seiki. It has exactly the same features and dimensions of the original part but this reproduction weighs 907 grams, originals weigh 319 grams. We have listed an original AX-4 on another ad. Genuine Micro Seiki AX-4 arm boards are made of gun metal (aka red brass), an alloy of copper, tin and zinc. This reproduction AX-4 is almost triple the weight of the original part so its probably made of steel, an alloy of iron and carbon. One of the photos on this ad, of a Micro-Seiki DDX-1000 turntable with three tonearms, is to show how the arm board would be employed. The DDX 1000 is listed separately on another of our ads, as are the three tonearms. We have also listed five more M.S. tonearm boards -- also in Photos -- on other ads.

It is made of light weight gun metal (aka red brass), an alloy of copper, tin and zinc. We have listed an exact reproduction of the original AX-4 on another ad. (The reproduction is almost triple the weight of the original part so its probably made of steel, an alloy of iron and carbon.) As you can see in the photos this arm board is complete and in excellent condition. Shown in the photos for this ad, we recently listed five other M.S. arm boards in addition to this one. The Micro Seiki DDX-1000 shown in the photos is not for sale on this ad, it’s only there to display the arm boards in use. That DDX-1000 turntable is listed on another of our ads though.
