Highly presentable Garrard 401 compact plinth cut for 9 SME arms such as 3009 Series II, Series II Improved, Series III etc. Constructed of chipboard or similar with a pleasant veneer on top. To the base there are 3 feet and there is routing for arm cables and mains cables. This is a period item from the 60s-70s I would guess. The small footprint makes is less usual for a Garrard plinth.
