This vintage Fisher Futura Series 202 stereo receiver from Japan is a treat for any audiophile. For parts/repair Fisher PH-M25 Micro Stereo Microcassette Recorder. Tested to power on, speed seems a bit slow on playback and FF. RW seems normal speed. Tried to record a cassette but no sound on playback. Microphone appears to work correctly as the sound indicator light comes on during noise as it should. Likely just need new belts to get up to recording speed. Really great shape cosmetically, 100% complete and original. Pristine battery compartment, never stored with batteries inside. In decent working condition. The volume knobs are a little finicky. If you increase the volume, especially at low levels, the speakers cut in and out. At high volume it is fine. Appears to be a dirty connection or something along those lines. If you set the volume knobs into position its plays normally, only when changing volume the speakers cut in and out. Seems like a connection issue on the volume knobs itself. The speakers work great and all other functions are normal.

Fisher 250-TX Here we have a 1970 Fisher 250TX Tune~O~Matic Made in NY in the USA that is in NEAR MINT CONDITION. The unit has a colonial walnut case with a brass mesh vent. The unit has been serviced at Hyles Audio in Johnson City, NY, and has upgraded parts. The tech that serviced it at Hyles goes by the name of Dave he was employed at McIntosh in Binghamton, which neighbors Johnson City. Dave has been my tech for 5 years now, and he truly is a genius technician. He fixes things how they are supposed to be fixed, and he cut no corners when repairing The Fisher. This unit sounds absolutely fabulous and is super loud. Dave claims that The Fisher 250TX is closer to 40 watts per channel than 30 watts per channel.
