The unit lights up and the dials move, but it doesnt work after that. I cant get it to play, rewind or FF. So Im selling this AS IS/FOR PARTS ONLY. Also one of the rubber booties is missing on the back (see picture)

Didnt turn it on or even open the case - better left for an expert. Receiver looks in excellent condition but probably sat idle for 20+ years. Estate purchase. My experience tells me this is probably late 60s or early 70s vintage. See pics - walnut case should buff out nicely. No missing knobs or any signs it was abused. Fisher 250-TX Here we have a 1970 Fisher 250TX Tune~O~Matic Made in NY in the USA that is in NEAR MINT CONDITION. The unit has a colonial walnut case with a brass mesh vent. The unit has been serviced at Hyles Audio in Johnson City, NY, and has upgraded parts. The tech that serviced it at Hyles goes by the name of Dave he was employed at McIntosh in Binghamton, which neighbors Johnson City. Dave has been my tech for 5 years now, and he truly is a genius technician. He fixes things how they are supposed to be fixed, and he cut no corners when repairing The Fisher. This unit sounds absolutely fabulous and is super loud. Dave claims that The Fisher 250TX is closer to 40 watts per channel than 30 watts per channel.
