This Zenith Royal RD7000Y transoceanic is very clean. It does work properly. The FM stations sound nice and clear. I do not have a power cord.

Zenith Model 7000-1 Transoceanic multi-band radio. This radio is clean cosmetically and the FM and weather bands work. This unit belonged to my late father. Meaning, I dont know if the other bands simply dont work, or if theres nothing being broadcast on the other bands. Comes with a fitted case and everything you see in the pictures. Zenith Trans Oceanic 11 Band Radio Royal D7000Y. No power cord (I tested it with a cord that was sold with another radio). Sounds good but does have some slight static in the controls including the volume. The handle and top plate has previous owner markings engraved. The RF Gain dial is missing its silver center cap and the black vinyl side material has some waviness. Please see all the close up photos.

Near Mint Zenith Trans•Oceanic Royal D7000Y Solid State Portable. Really this thing looks like it was stored in a ziplock bag. I barely wiped it off for the pictures. Sounds and looks fully functional, other than dial light. Battery compartment looks undisturbed with perfect instructions and headphones. Antenna didn’t look like it had ever been extended. Pretty much unused condition. Includes two manuals and the original paper tag. Original brass ownership tag where you can proudly engrave your name below “Trans Oceanic” had never been out of the envelope! Have the box too, but it’s toast… Ships with insurance. Low starting bid and no reserve!

Zenith Trans-Oceanic Radio Royal R7000 11 Band AM/FM/SW/LW/VHF/BC/M Bands Tested. We have sold quite a few transoceanic radios over the year and this is one of the cleanest ones we’ve come across. Powers up with both batteries and original AC cable, even has original ear piece as well. Volume is great and was able to find channels without issue on FM/AM. There was a lot of feedback/squelching on VHF/SW/M bands but was unable to find any stations. Found a couple of stations on LW. Pretty much a SW radio amateur so not sure how to get better results finding stations. The log book is in excellent condition with no markings or writing on the book. Apart from some markings, scuffs around the area of the compass there is very little else to point out on this unit. Very clean and a beautiful piece. The only issue we found is that the lights did not work and it needs a new bulb for the reading light as well. Unit weighs 14.30lbs without batteries.
