From my personal system, I just upgraded to a Parasound JC3. Info from iFi: MM/MC from 36dB >72dB gain. Super-silent noise floor -151dBVPrecise RIAA with Balanced output, performance comparable to +$1k phono stages AI sub-sonic filter. Several years ago iFi completely changed the scene when they introduced the Zen Dac, a sub-$200 amp/dac that was powerful enough to drive the HD650, portable to be powered through your laptops USB port, and had bass-x DSP built-in for fun. Several months later they came out with the Zen Can, which added a ton more power. Best of all, iFi made both balanced, and you can connect both via a 4.4mm balanced cable. This was truly an amazing set of gear. Now the original Zen Dac and Zen Can can be yours in a stack. The newer versions have not added anything meaningful.
