I only used this amp for a couple months, so it is in excellent condition. I replaced it with an amp that costs 3 times as much, but I can barely tell a difference if at all. This thing rocks! Bought this, let it run in for about 5 days and couldnt believe my ears when I actually heard it! This is a highly recommended audio component. It has won all sorts of awards. Honestly, I thought it was going to be inexpensive Chinese Hi-Fi. I was not ready for the sound quality this thing produced. After a week, it quit working. I once again, said to myself, Just another cheap piece of Chinese Hi-Fi. So I ordered another phono pre-amp, which was many times the cost, (very pricey). I sent this thing back to iFi to get repaired. It was under warranty, so it was no cost out of my pocket. A few days later, my now phono pre-amp arrived! I burned it in for about 5 days. On the fifth day, I thought it was now time to listen. One of my connectors was bad. I called iFi, asked if they had worked on it yet, and they said, they couldnt find anything wrong with it. I told them they would not. That I had discovered a bad connector. So they sent it back. I can not objectively say that my new pre-amp that cost several times more is any better. I can say that the iFi has better bass slam and better detail. So, I had already bought the upgraded power supply, and am now selling the whole thing! You will get the Zen iFi with the upgraded power supply. iFi inadvertently forgot to send me back the manual. You can download these or ask iFi for one, and they will send it. This is very straightforward, and doesnt need a manual. The upgraded power supply costs 69.00 now on Amazon. In conclusion, you get the iFi Zen phone pre-amp with the much more expensive iFi power supply for less then you if you bought a brand new one with the stock power supply. It will be securely packed.
