YBA Intégré DT Stereo Integrated Amplifier w/ Phono Stage – FranceThis is a very nice YBA Intégré DT Stereo Integrated Amplifier. It is from their late ‘90s Intégré series, and is made in France like all their high-end line components were at the time. This was purchased new in 1999 and is a one owner unit. The amplifier has a really good sound, focused, with strong bass and clear mids and highs. It is rated at 50 watts per channel, but these watts are very solid. I was using it to drive a hungry pair of 3.5R Magneplanars, and it did very well. This and all the YBA gear run cool, they are not designed to get hot, and thereby have a longer life span and clarity of tone. It is supported by three feet, all their gear back then used a tripod support system for stability and clarity as well. This is one of the better values on the market – YBA is not one of the better known names out there but is highly regarded. Check out reviews from Stereophile, etc. from that period and you’ll see how well thought of they were. It measures 17”w x 14.5”d x 3.75”h overall and has serial number 2416087DT. Made in France. There are connectors in back for bare wire, spades, and banana plugs. There is very slight surface wear, it’s not mint, but the unit is in excellent condition overall. Controls and rear jacks are all in fine shape. The volume control is very slightly scratchy, could use some interior cleaning, but the sound goes away after a bit of rotation.
