Screen is nice and bright with no fading or weakness.Player was tested with industry standard Phillips SBC playability test CD (SBC 444 A) (not included for sale) and pass through all test tracks with no skipping or any audible distortion in sound, so laser and electronics can be considered in good shape. CD payer can read and play all compact disc audio recorded media.Unit was upgraded with two strong RCA 6SA7GTB tubes and sound amazing.Really impressive performer with warm tube sound and good staging.Sensitive to the tubes rolling, so more fun guaranteed for enthusiasts.CD player comes as pictured, with power cord, original remote control, allen screw driver and factory box (not pictured).Item will be shipped well packed and guaranteed to be working on arrival.Sorry, no extended warranty on used electronics.
