This is a Yaqin MC-100B 10-tube, dual-mono design, KT-88 integrated amplifier in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. All tubes have been upgraded and are functioning well. The front row preamp tubes are two JJ ECC83Ss. The middle row preamp tubes are four Tung-Sol 6SN7-GTBs. The back row output tubes are four PSVANE (HiFi series) KT88s, which have low hours. Included as an extra will be a set of four matched, tested, and unused new-old-stock NEVZ 6N8S preamp tubes. Note that with this tube complement, the sound from this is not tubey and mellow, it is detailed and full. I found that this amp worked best with a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 8 floorstanders (3-way, 4 ohm, 90 db), for reference purposes. My audiophile neighbor loved that combinations sound better than anything I had in the house. Currently, it is configured with a pair of Philharmonic Audio AAMs in a small office, and that is a very good sounding combination, as well. Obviously, the sound profile can be tailored to ones preference with some tube rolling, if desired. All original packing materials (double box, Styrofoam inserts), the owners manual, the bias adjustment tool, and the standard power cord are included. This is a very solid, heavy amplifier, about 67 lb. boxed. (I am selling it because we are downsizing from large multi-level house to much smaller one-level condo, hence I must downsize number and size of systems by half, starting with the largest amp.) I have owned this amp for almost two years but not currently using it in my set up, I have two other valve amps. This is the most powerful at 60RMS per channel. Even the 25RMS per channel valve amps are ample power for majority of tower speakers. Amp is in good condition, 240v power supply.
