Considered to be one of the top 5 desirable turntables of all time. This is a one owner unit from an estate sale that I required recently. Its owner was prepared and cared for this unit. Its been well cared for, stored in heated storage for over thirty years until she was recently uncovered. I had the pleasure of using this machine for 6 months. The extras this gentlemen kept in the box and a couple of pieces I added make this an audiophile dream package. If your going to get into this you mine as well get it right the first time. You dont see complete stuff like this. 50 years something always get misplaced or dissappears. Not this one. This habit can get expensive and there arent many desirable pieces out there anymore that have been kept original or are missing pieces. This unit has all those pieces covered. I opened it to verify it was the fit to N 75. It has one song on it and sounded soo good lol. I put it back for special occasions but I currently have upgraded and cant see myself using it again. Let someone else enjoy it. I should have kept packet sealed but had to verify (sad face) Plus a Shure V15 ii Phono Cartridge, never got around to really testing this one out. I put an N 75 in it and it wasnt proper fit but I did get sound out of both speakers. Sounded very nice but I think it could benefit from a proper fitting stylus so Im gonna throw this in for free. The others have been tested and are EXCELLANT. Two belts from different carriers. I was worried and didnt wanna wait and ordered two just in case both are excellant Original Yamaha headshell weight. Anti skate weight for the tonearm of the Yamaha YP-701 turntable. This anti skate weight is made as a close replica of the original. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *
