Here is a YAMAHA CT-800 Natural Sound Am/Fm Stereo tuner in very good condition. The tuner has been tested . All lights work and FM reception is excellent. Note that AM reception could not be tested because there is no longer service in my area.The front of the device is in excellent condition, almost perfect. Note that the cabinet is black, originally it should be brown. It appears to have been covered by the previous owner. There is a serial number engraved on the back of the device. All functions have been tested and work properly except for the level button which does not seem to work. I dont have the user manual and I cant test this function. Since the device is over 45 years old, some parts may need to be replaced later to achieve optimal quality. The buyer should be aware of this. Am and Fm antenna are not included. For sale is a Yamaha T-80 Natural Sound AM/FM Stereo Tuner. It has super-precision digital fine tuning in 0.01 MHz steps, and a mix of preset stations available. This unit is in fine working condition. There are some cosmetic blemishes on the unit as can be seen in the pictures. I am the original and only owner of this tuner. It has been in storage for a number of years as a backup to my current gear, but my spouse has told me I cannot get any new gear until I clear out the old. Therefore, I am selling this and the Yamaha CX-2 control / pre-amp. See the last picture for the rack. As can be seen in the pictures, the unit will be shipped in its original packaging. Cross posted locally won’t last! Best Offer? Please read everything. The only reason I am doing for parts and repair is due to the fact that the pre-amplifier is not working. Amplifier was serviced at some point along with everything else. I just did my own general service and inspection. I have played the amplifier for multiple hours and it performs well. The tuner pulls in stations. But I’m sure it would not hurt to exercise the buttons a little bit more. I cleaned the controls on the preamp amplifier but the unit did not power up. The unit weighs 80 pounds so I believe with everything else it will be about 100 pounds. Everything will be properly shipped and packaged. Please allow some extra time for Safe packaging. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Condition of amplifier is very good. Condition of tuner is very good. There are some dings on the pre-amplifier. The face on all three units is in excellent condition. I describe everything the way I would like it described for me. Please see pictures as they are part of the visual description. Thank you.
