You are purchasing a used Yamaha R-1000 200W Stereo Receiver. I just had it on playing music. There is a very slight distortion when you change the volume. There are some scratches and other blemishes on the wood finish. All of the lights appear to work as they should. Please see the photos that were just taken of the actual item. Was going into protect mode when using channel B until I blew it out with air. Seems to work good now. Presence and Spatial dials crackle when adjusted. YAMAHA R-1000 Natural Sound AM/FM Stereo Receivers - WORKS & TESTED. Tested and working. The light for the tuner button does not turn on, but the button works. There are some chips in the wood, and it is rising a bit above the face plate. Various scratches around the top and face areas. Some pots are a little scratchy, but nothing too bad and probably an easy fix. The inside is a bit dusty as well. Please see photos for more info.

It is confirmed that the MM cartridge playback of records from PHONO1 is possible, AUX 1, 2, and then the CD deck can be played. Both speaker terminals A and B should be connected to the speaker and output sound. thats all. The tape deck and microphone have not been tested for connection. During the one-hour test, it was stable and noise-free, and I felt it was in very good condition. As expected, there are scratches and stains. I have cleaned it but it is not removed. Part of the plastic surrounding speaker terminal A has a crack that protrudes toward you, so you have to be a little careful when connecting the speaker cords, but you can connect them properly. The sound is wonderful, delicate and clear, and I think its a Yamaha amp that delivers tight low frequencies. Its been nearly 50 years since it was released, so if you feel that there is a problem, I would like to purchase it from someone who has the skills to repair it. I think that it is a rare amplifier that you do not come across for a while, so I would appreciate it if you could understand the value of this amplifier and cherish it.
