Yamaha RX-Z1 This was removed from an install where the customer upgraded to a new system. It is a is 8 channel super powerful home theater/audio video receiver. The main six channels are 130 watts while the two front auxiliary channels are 45 watts (see graphic). This thing pumps! If you want beefy, this is beefy. I ran several tests on the receiver: The receiver features multiple analog video inputs (component and composite) and digital audio inputs (optical). It also has an AC-3 coaxial input for laser discs. The receiver does not have HDMI but can be used with modern TVs, you would run your HDMI sources directly to the TV then use your TVs optical digital audio output and run it to the receiver. The receiver has Dolby Digital and DTS. I tested it with a DVD player hooked up through component video, analog audio, and digital audio (optical). All worked fine. Component video in goes out on component video. I hooked up a Yamaha MusicCast and tested the RCA audio and video (red, white, yellow cables) and it too worked fine. RCA video in goes out on RCA. You can access the on screen setup menus through RCA. I also tested it with a Sonos Connect using RCA cables and it worked too. The receiver has speaker A and speaker B so you could hook up a second pair of speakers in a different area such as the garage, backyard, game room, craft room, or man cave. The receiver comes with the Yamaha remote and manual seen in the photos. The remote is not the one that originally came with the receiver but many of the buttons work fine. The listing is for the receiver, remote control, manual, and power cord. The case is in overall good shape with some signs of wear, scuffs, and scratches , see detailed photos for yourself. It is VERY heavy. I will package very well with lots of protection and double box it. I will only ship to the 48 contiguous states no APO and no PO.
