Yamaha R-1000 Natural Sound Stereo Receiver. All controls have been cleaned; sounds awesome on both channels. Antenna included. The AM/FM stations memory battery has been replaced with a new one. All functions work perfectly.

Vintage Yamaha Natural Sound Stereo Receiver R-1000 - Powers on - READ Powers on. Channels A & B produce good output/sound when using aux input. Was going into protect mode when using channel B until I blew it out with air. Seems to work good now. Presence and Spatial dials crackle when adjusted. Radio station LED wont stop searching even with antennae hooked up. It will go up or down but I wont lock into any stations. See pictures. Case has some mild wear and some warping/curling of the veneer in several places. This is a big stereo at 21 wide! Nice project to refurb or part out. Clearly plays music from any input source, and outputs clean sound through all four speaker channels. All buttons, dials, and switches along the front face feel rigid as they should, and are appropriately responsive to their designated actions. Digital display shines brightly when the unit is powered on, and is void of any visual imperfections. Receiver is in excellent condition cosmetically, showing little to no signs of age-related wear around its exterior. No cracks, dents, or other forms of damage inflicted along any edge or face of the units wooden cabinet. A real nice R-1000 Yamaha Receiver with a tuning issue, You can see the VU strength increase as it passes stations, But these tuners use a Zero Crosspath tuning system and I have no time for another project, I hate to scrap it for parts, But if not sold in this auction look for disassembled and separated parts for sale.
