Here is a beautiful pair of Yamaha NS1000M speakers. Matched pair serial 24377. If you are looking for a nice pair of these speakers you can now stop because here they are! I have seen a lot of these speakers and I beleive this pair is about as nice as they come. Some minor marks and one top corner of the grills is torn a little as shown in the pictures but very nice.They sound amazing as you know but I like to leave the grills off because they are very cool to look at. I will not ship these because those who known them know they are heavy.I will deliver them in a 2 1/2 hour radius from San Rafael,Ca 94901 I will deliver these speakers free 4.5 hours north of San Rafael, CA, or 2.5 hours east or south of San Rafael. Fabulous sound from these. condition is normal for age I would guess.  they sound amazing. a tweeter was not working, today a replacement arrived from japan now complete. sound fabulous.  I had listed these at a lower price with one tweeter not working. Reserved Legendary Yamaha NS1000M Monitor Speakers Drive units in superb condition. The metal mesh grilles are all very good. The front baffle is in lovely condition overall. The top and side cabinet veneer is in pretty good condition although there are some marks and scratches here and there Superb sound and working perfectly. They are fitted with 4 mm banana sockets rather than the more usual spring clips. Wooden stands are included. They are angled back slightly to improve dispersion I am selling these on behalf of a client. They have only ever been used in a small room in a domestic environment. Never driven hard and only used with quality amplification. Yamaha NS1000M legendary Monitor loudspeakers, refurbished paintwork and WBT terminals. Rewired to bypass tone controls and pinch connectors replaced with German WBT brand speaker terminals for a purer sound. These speakers are known internationally for a tight and massive bass response, with a fast and accurate high and mid range from the use of the rare metal Beryllium in the forming of the tweeters and mid range drivers (the worlds first manufacturer to do so). They are easy to drive - see the numerous reviews on line. Very good condition generally due to refurbishment of paintwork; note there are some small usage scratches underneath the speakers where they connect with the stands and a dent to rear corner woodwork of one speaker not visible from the front. The backs of the speakers are the standard black painted chipboard (not designed to have the same finish as the front and sides, as with most speakers from this vintage era) Original Phillips type Driver fixing screws replaced with top quality stainless steel Allen bolts to increase rigidity of the driver fixing to the cabinet.
