Pair of Yamaha NS-C300 Supreme Quality Speakers. These speakers are in superb condition and I have always used these centre speakers as right and left ones, as I am very much fond of stereo sound, as opposed to surround sound. These speakers - along with NS-300 - are the best Yamaha have ever manufactured for domestic purposes. They have the same supreme quality as their floorstanding version - NS-300 - but have a slightly smaller enclosure, hence their frequency response does not go as low as the NS-300 - that is definitely something a subwoofer or 2 can sort out. These speakers, because of their size, cannot be used as floorstanding speakers, as they are simply too short and the tweeter is positioned in the middle of the speakers - hence the price is lower than to NS-300 - but make brilliant bookshelf speakers (when it comes to big bookshelfs). The production line started in 1999 and ended just two years later. Their superb performance, coupled with how rare they are keeps them highly valued. The best way to describe the performance from these speakers is by playing music or a movie while using them, so pay me a visit and lets get things moving (literally).
