Die Detailauflösung ist genau so gut und auch die Ortungschärfe ist sehr präzise und hier auch endlich mal in die Tiefe reichend. Erinnert mich klanglich ein wenig an ein Grace F9. Anscheinend zeigt hier die einzigartige Kreuzspulenlagerung mit fixer Befestigung, was man an Präzision aus einen MC holen kann, wenn er eben nicht in Gummi oder Schaumstoff lagert. Dazu der verdrillte 7fache Spanndraht mit je 30µm Durchmesser. Es klingt sehr dynamisch und agil mit auch schon richtig guten und vor allem trockenen Tiefbass. Es hat einen ausgewogenen Klang, ist nicht aufdringlich und besitzt eine hohe räumliche Auflösung. Es war bis vor einigen Jahren auf einem SME Tonarm montiert, der selbstverständlich immer präzise eingestellt war. - Nach dem Wechsel auf einen anderen Tonarm wurde das MC 9 sorgfältig in einer geschützten und geeigneten Box aufbewahrt. Aus der Erinnerung kann ich die Spielstunden des System leider nicht angeben, nur, dass es bis zum o.g. Wechsel tadellos funktionierte.
